Dear Poirier Families,
We are wrapping up a busy week and heading into the last week before winter break. Next week we have sing-a-longs, field trips, a PJ afternoon with crafts and activities, and a whole school assembly. There are lots of notes below. Thanks for taking the time to read through this email.
- Thank you very much to everyone who donated to the Shoebox Project. Again, our community help was amazing. The Peer Helpers and Mr. Parsons made 32 boxes that will be delivered to women in need. Thank you for being so generous.
- Last to claim your lost items: Our lost and found will be donated at the end of next week. Please look for any missing items. Thank you
- Hot Lunch Day– If your child is absent on hot lunch day, please put in your email to the attendance email (poirierattendance@sd62.bc.ca) if you are picking up the lunch or want to have it donated by 10:00am. Lunches will be donated if there is no contact. Thank you.
- PAC is spreading holiday cheer in the form of candy canes given out at the sing-a-longs and by PAC.
- If you Do Not want your child to have a candy cane, please let us know and we will work with you to find another snack for them. Thank you.
