Dear Poirier Families,
Thank you everyone for your fabulous support of our Read-a-thon last week. We raised $2180.25 for books in our library! Wow! We finished the week with a lovely performance of celtic music! It was a long week with snow at the beginning, lots of sledding, snow building, and playing together. Next week we have no school on Friday for Professional Development.
- All of our Black Bears will be hosting ‘Tell Me A Story’ Winter Showcase on Thursday, February 20th. There will be two times families can choose to join. 1:15-2:20 in the afternoon (parents and grandparents that can make it!) and 6:00-7:15 in the evening. Please mark your calendar and be prepared to come and hear some stories! There will be performances in the gym, activities, displays, and performances in classes, and exhibits in our hallways. We cannot wait to share a story with you.

If your child is absent on hot lunch day, please notify us, by 11:00am, at poirierattendance@sd62.bc.ca, and include whether you will pick up your child’s hot lunch order or if you would like the PAC to donate it to another child. Lunch is available for pickup at noon. If we don’t hear from you, we will donate the lunch to support a child in our school. |
