Dear Poirier Families,
Thank you to everyone for helping us with our Literacy Week. We had great costumes, answers to trivia, a super response to our Read-a-thon, and an assembly with a reader’s theatre and many prizes awarded. We love stories!!
- All of our Black Bears will be hosting ‘Tell Me A Story’ Winter Showcase on Thursday, February 20th. There will be two times families can choose to join. 1:15-2:20 in the afternoon (parents and grandparents that can make it!) and 6:00-7:15 in the evening. Please mark your calendar and be prepared to come and hear some stories! There will be performances in the gym, activities, displays, and performances in classes, and exhibits in our hallways. We cannot wait to share a story with you.
- Action Item for Grade 4 families: please fill out the Student Learning Survey using this link: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/education-training/k-12/support/student-learning-survey. The survey can be accessed through the link and by clicking on Take the Survey. On the login page, click on the Parents icon, and then select School District 62 and Ecole Poirier Elementary.
