April 30, 2021

Dear Guardians and Parents,

Another week of spring has flown by! We are noticing our Panthers have grown in size and maturity as the year moves on. Next week we have a fire drill on Tuesday in the morning. On Thursday and Friday we will be moving and jumping for Jump Rope for Heart. We will have cones out and ask for no driving in the bus lane.

  • A reminder that if you come to our school for an early pick up, please go to the office and let the front office know that you are picking up your child. We will then bring your child to the office. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
  • Sooke Parents Education Advisory Council (SPEAC) is sponsoring a social media awareness virtual event for parents on May 6th. Please see the attachment for information.

We know children benefit from large blocks of time playing outside with things found in nature to let their imagination grow with their play. I hope you have time to play outside with your family this weekend. The planning and problem solving is authentic learning. Enjoy this special time when your children are young! Have a good weekend.
