November 30, 2018

Our Annual Christmas Food Drive is in full swing! A donation of any non-perishable foods would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the foyer. All donations will be added to the tally of the EMCS initiated 10,000 Tonight and will help fill the shelves of our very own local Sooke Food Bank.  Thank you to all of you who have brought in items, next week the themes are anything Italian and the final week is anything dinner.

A reminder that Monday is a Curriculum-Implementation day for teachers and therefore a non-instructional day for students, we will see you all back first thing Tuesday morning!

Reminders for drivers who are dropping their children off in the middle section of the traffic circle:

  • The vehicle driver is responsible to ensure it is safe for students to exit their vehicle and that the child walks in the crosswalk area.
  • When the vehicle in front of you stops, do not pass, a child may be exiting the vehicle.
  • All children and other pedestrians use the two crosswalks to safely walk across the bus lane. Do not drop your child off anywhere but the crosswalks.  It is too dangerous!
