SUMMER 2018

It has been a year of many wonderful experiences for our community.  From musical performances, fieldtrips, role model presentations, Beach and Fun Day.  Each day our students had opportunities to create, to work with others, to solve problems and to be challenged to do their best.  We have lived every day with our motto:  JOIN-IN!

We would like to thank all of the members of the PAC for the service, dedication, and commitment they have given to the school.

The following staff members will be leaving our school. We would like to thank them for the excellent service they have given to the students and community of École Poirier Elementary School:

Ms. Rachel Harding

Mme. Sarah Hallet

Mr. Ryan Shrieves

Mme. Carolyn Hait

Mrs. Murielle Legace

We want to thank all of you for the support and help you have given us these past months.  We look forward to working with all of you and your children in September. Until then, we wish you all a very safe, fun, and relaxing summer.

A SUMMER OF READING

To our students:  one last request before you dive into summer!  Make time to read every day.  Yes, EVERY DAY, even for a few minutes.  Read with your family, to your pets, under a tree in your backyard… just read.  You will never regret the adventures you find in books.   The Sooke library has a wonderful selection and a fun program for the summer.

We hope you have a wonderful time on vacation!
