Welcome back for Term Two! We look forward to working with all Panther families in 2018.
What happened this week:
Djembe drums, and gymnastics – what a way to start the year!
Thank you for making sure your children are coming to school dressed for the wet and cold weather. The students are much happier when they are comfortable! Please make sure your child’s inside shoes have made it back to their classrooms, and a change of clothing is in their backpack or classroom. All children (K-5) change into a clean pair of shoes to ensure mud is not being tracked throughout the building, and dry clothes just in case!
What’s happening next week:
Monday there is no school for a Curriculum Implementation Day, allowing teachers to brush up on their skills and students to catch up after re-adjusting to being back at school.
Tuesday Poirier’s PAC will be meeting in the music room – everyone is welcome. The more, the merrier!
Thursday we will receive salmon eggs in Division 14 (Mme. Ralph-Bruce’s class) so students can study the life-cycle of the salmon, and in the evening our French Immersion team will be hosting the French Immersion Kindergarten information night for the parents of next year’s kindies.
Friday Divisions 6 (Mme. Hait) and 9 (Mme. Jeffries) will be headed to Seaparc for some ice skating.
